Greetings all!

My most favourite time of the year is here.

I gave birth to a healthy baby boy on August 23, and we are very excited to be celebrating his first Halloween soon.

On the weekend of October 24, 25 I had the wonderful opportunity to take a two day dance workshop with the internationally sought after dancer Aziza.First, I really couldn't wait to be taught by her because she is Hannan Sultan's teacher.And secondly the workshop was held at the BellyUp studio in Oakville. It is such a gorgeous and inspiring studio!Well, Aziza was wonderful, articulate, warm, encouraging, brilliant and funny.There were many levels of dancers taking the workshop and she encouraged all and didn't make anyone feel like they were being left out.The combos we all learned we can certainly take into any form of dance.I especially loved that we got to work with a live drummer as well.

On the Saturday night there was a gala party at Tarboosh Tent out in Oakville and I opened the night for a line up of dancers. It was wonderful getting back to performing and it has only been two months since I had my son.

I am very happy to be back performing and dancing.Hopefully I will be able to travel to NYC soon as well.
